Intergenerational communication is the process of exchanging information, values, and experiences between individuals from different age groups, such as the Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z, differences in social background, culture, technology, and life experiences often influence communication styles, perceptions, and expectations between generations, aiming to analyze the dynamics of intergenerational communication, emerging barriers, and strategies that can be used to build shared understanding, the results of the study show that differences in the use of language, communication media, and interaction patterns can create gaps, but can be overcome through empathy, adaptation of communication styles, and the use of media that are relevant to all age groups, thus, effective intergenerational communication plays an important role in creating harmonious relationships, productive collaboration, and the transfer of knowledge across generations. generational diversity in the modern work environment presents unique challenges in communication. Differences in values, preferences and work styles between generations can hinder collaboration and productivity. This article discusses the importance of effective intergenerational communication in modern organizational leadership, by understanding and addressing these communication challenges, organizations can create a more inclusive and productive work environment.
